The Sabino Canyon is a beautiful sight, and you can experience the walking trails and views at the Sabino Canyon State Park. The park is home to a lot of wildlife though, and you should be careful hiking and walking alone, especially after dark.
A particularly malevolent, angry mountain lion is said to stalk and follow hikers and campers until they reached the main paved road. The spirit is said to have very negative energy and seems to be very angry. Again, when visiting the Canyon be very prepared, not only with your sunscreen, cameras and maps, but know how much time you have before sundown as well. The last thing you want is an evil spirit pursuing you through the dark desert pathways.
